50s/60s Awe-Inspiring-All-in-One
size 36B
A finer example of vintage corsetry is simply not to be found. Lily of France in the 50s (and still today) epitomized high-end lingerie, and was commonly advertised in Vogue fashion spreads as the ideal foundations to wear under Dior's figure conscious fashions. Combining bra and open bottom girdle into one garment, the all-in-one offers the smoothest way to achieve the the kind of silhouette needed under vintage fashions. This piece has not been worn; still sporting its original tag! Made of elastic net fabric that's a blend of 55% nylon, 25% rayon, and 20% spandex. Nylon lace forms the cups. There is a smooth satin panel that starts between the cups and forms a diamond shape over the abdomen, embroidered with a flower. The back also has a satin diamond panel. Wide, adjustable satin straps attached to elastic anchors front and back. Six beribboned, white painted metal garters are available to hold up stockings. The all-in-one has four metal eyes for fastening in back. The label inside reads "Lily of France, size 36B." The cups seem to be on the larger side of today's B. Please check the other measurements below to determine fit. A stunning vintage foundation!
