50s Maggie-the-Cat Taffeta Slip
size S/M
A contemporary to the slip worn by Elizabeth Taylor in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", this exquisite slip is made from cream colored nylon taffeta, and has a metal size zipper. Tailored for a beautiful, figure hugging fit, with darts and a defined waistline. The bodice is completely covered with a layer of lace, as are the wide straps that hold it up. The neckline is a graceful combination of scoop and sweetheart styles. The slip has a side metal zipper to allow donning and removal. Label inside reads "Dress Mate Barbizon. Size 18 miss." Estimated size is about a small to medium, but please check the specific measurements given below. A wonderful vintage 50s slip.
