80s Diagonal-Dalliance Dress

What a superb example of early 80s fashion! This dress has all the essential elements -- the pink-mauve color, the shirred, dropped waistline, and the little gathered and puffed shoulders. The smooth poly knit fabric is wonderful in the way it forms a stripe pattern by the variance in surface texture -- smooth satin, alternating with matte portions. There are small buttons fastening at the cuffs as well as the neckline in back. The label inside reads "Jodi Michaels, size 9/10." Estimated size is about a small, but please check the specific measurements given below. (Please note that the bodice does not have darts, and there is little stretch in the fabric, so the 38 inches at the bust translates to more like 34 inches.) A darling of a dress!
