60s Show-Off-in-Shaheen Column Dress
size L
A wonderful late 60s dress from legendary fabric designer, Alfred Shaheen. Unique, and very becoming, too. The fabric is glittery gold with a large white and rust floral pattern; a blend of 75% rayon and 25% metallic. Running down the length of the dress in the front and back, defining the center, is a squared swirl border pattern. A dramatic mandarin collar tops the dress, which has a long, straight shape flaring slightly towards the floor sweeping bottom hem. In back is a nylon zipper and walking slit. A gold satin, tassled cord gives the waistline definition. Fully lined inside with taffeta. The label inside reads "Alfred Shaheen, California Hawaii. Size 14." Estimated size is about a large, but please check the specific measurements given below.
Measurements:
Bust=41
" Shoulders=16
" Waist=38
" Hips=41
" Shoulder to hem length=59
"
Condition: Very good. There is a small flaw in the fabric on one side of the mandarin collar (in front), hence the low price.
