80s Play-It-Like-a-Princess Gunne Sax Dress
size S/M
A luscious formal dress from Gunne Sax. From the later 70s or early 80s, it is a
decadent combination of chiffon, lace and satin ribbon trim. Made from sheer poly
chiffon that's a pale blue, covered in a pattern of flocked white dots. The bodice
features a deep V front and back, framed by two lace edged ruffles, and filled in with
sheer dotted chiffon. Above, the high neckline is defined by a lace edged band. Small
pearl buttons fasten the back from the neckline to the waist, where a nylon zipper starts.
The skirt portion is made up of three layers: the outer blue chiffon layer which is hemmed
at the bottom with a very large ruffle. Underneath that is a smooth acetate taffeta layer.
At the very bottom, a tulle layer lays a foundation for the full skirt. There is an
attached sash belt at the waistline. The label inside the dress reads "Gunne Sax by Jessica.
Size 11." Estimated size is about a small to medium, but please check the specific measurements
given below. It's a divine vintage 80s dress, just waiting for a special occasion.
